Environmental Policy
Over the last few years, Cestrian have put a great deal of effort into raising the environmental bar across our business.
With the appointment of ISO Coordinator Dan Farrow, Cestrian have successfully implemented our Environmental Management System (EMS) achieving ISO 14001.
Dan has applied systems that control and monitor the environmental impact of our business and adopt a programme of continuous improvement of environmental performance.
Cestrian recognised the importance of EMS, not only on the environment but also for our clients. It had become more and more apparent over the years the importance of meeting the expectations of corporate print buyers, especially when tendering for new business.
Cestrian is committed to the continual improvement of its environmental performance at all stages of business planning, development, production and marketing. By periodically reviewing our current environmental efficiency, setting environmental objectives and acting upon them Cestrian ensures that it is constantly striving for optimal environmental performance. By doing this Cestrian is doing its part to help the environment by reducing poor environmental practise within the company not just once, but at each review thus reducing the polluting effects upon the environment time and time again. .
Here at Cestrian we don't see environmental management as a one shot fix. We see it as a process that has to evolve with the company, to work in harmony with all other aspects of business. By taking this approach environmental management never becomes neglected. Just as we offer the assurance to customers that they will receive high quality products, we offer them assurance that strong environmental consideration has been implemented into all stages of that product. Because of this approach we believe that communicating our environmental position, goals and requirements to all persons working for Cestrian or on behalf of the organisation will allow us to reach a higher standard. If all levels of management, employees and outside contractors know and adhere to our practise it will result in a better environment.
With the constant input and knowledge of our ISO Coordinator on site as well as enthusiasm and advice from outside contacts, Cestrian will ensure that it adheres to all environmental legislation that affects the nature of the business. As well as this, top management who are committed to the continual improvement of the company's environmental image and practise, are confident that they receive the best information in regards to improving their negative environmental impacts at each review meeting.
